报告人简介

Claude ESLING现任法国材料织构学会副主席,国际杂志《Textures and Microstructures》副主编,法国洛林大学国家科研中心(CNRS)织构研究与材料应用实验室(LEM3)创始人之一,曾任梅斯大学副校长。主要方向为材料电磁处理,马氏体变换晶体学研究,立方和六方晶材料变形机理研究等,在《Appl. Phys. Lett.》《Acta Mater.》等国际学术刊物上发表学术论文300多篇,所发表论文被引用3000篇次。曾获东欧工业社会研究项目研究大奖(1995), Bunge Award (关于织构和微结构研究的国际大奖,2014),中国国家友谊奖(2014)等多项大奖。

Recent developments in the analysis of polycrystalline textured materials.

Crystallography makes it possible to describe the regular periodic structure of the crystallized materials. But it also studies polycrystalline materials used in practice. For polycrystalline materials, the Orientation Distribution Function ODF is the statistical density of the crystalline orientations. There have been many progress from the traditional X-ray pole-figures measured on a texture goniometer, to orientation mapping by Electron Back Scatter Diffraction EBSD, 3D orientation mapping by dual beam microscopy, and even position resolved texture determination by the so called X-ray microscope technique (1).
